Division 3:
The Top 4 teams qualify for the semi final with Team 1 vs Team 4 and Team 2 vs Team 3 to determine the final.
Fixture Changes
The revised arrangements to Division 2A and 2B are in response to representations made by Division 2 clubs, who expressed a wish to have 4 teams progressing to quarter-finals out of each section of Division 2.
In order to fit the Division 2 quarter finals into the existing Minor League timeframe, the CCC propose to play a double round of Division 2A and 2B fixtures on St. Patrick's weekend, ie morning of St Patrick's Day, and Bank Holiday Monday 19th of March.
The Division 2 Quarter Finals will be played on Sunday 25 March.
It is felt this would be a fair compromise to get the Minor league completed and to honour the requests / submissions of the Division 2 clubs.
It is also proposed that any Postponed Games in Divisions 1 & 3 will also be played on the morning of St Patrick's Day.
Proposed Dates for Minor Fixtures:
· Sunday Feb 12th @ 2pm === Round 1 All Divisions
· Saturday Feb 18th @ 3pm === Round 2 All Divisions
· Saturday Feb 25th @ 3pm === Round 3 All Divisions
· Sunday March 04th @ 2pm === Round 4 All Divisions
· Sunday March 11th @ 2pm === Round 5 All Divisions
· Saturday March 17th@ 11:30am: === Round 6 Division 2 Only, Postponed Games Divisions 1 & 3.
· Monday March 19th @ 12 noon === Round 6 Division 1 & 3. Round 7 Division 2
· Sunday March 25th @ 2pm === Round 7 Division 1 & 3. Division 2 Quarter Finals
Finally, the following additional arrangements for the Minor Leagues have been confirmed:
- Amalgamated teams must nominate home venue prior to the fixture.
- The home team are responsible for the venue, if a pitch is unplayable an alternative pitch must be arranged e.g. a pitch close by or the 3G in Kingspan Breffni Park (if available). Failing that surrender home advantage where necessary.
- It is proposed to have neutral venues (which may include the Kingspan Breffni Park 3G Pitch) for all Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Finals.
